Rideshare advertising pricing in Vancouver, BC

In-car rideshare advertising in Metro Vancouver starts at CAD $499 a month for about 14,000 impressions. The Growth plan is CAD $2,499 a month for about 80,000 impressions. Enterprise is by conversation. There is no contract and no setup fee on either published plan, unused credits roll over, annual billing saves 15%, and every price on this page is in Canadian dollars.

We publish this because most out-of-home media makes you sit through a sales call to find out you cannot afford it. You should not have to.

Now reserving founding advertisers

Our Vancouver pilot has wrapped and we are moving to production hardware. Screens return to the road in the coming months. These are the rates founding advertisers are reserving at now — nothing is billed until your campaign actually starts running.

Month to month, cancel any time. If a month comes up short, unused credits roll over rather than disappearing, so you never lose what you paid for. All prices in Canadian dollars.

What counts as an impression

One playback of your ad, seen by one rider. A single playback usually reaches more than one person, so we model 1.4 riders per playback, which is the standard for in-vehicle screens. We call it modelled because we do not pretend to count heads, and we will never tell you a reach number we cannot show you the plays behind.

How does that compare to other Vancouver advertising?

Here is the honest comparison, using other operators' published Canadian rates rather than our own math. A billboard reaches more people for the money. An in-car screen reaches fewer people who are actually watching it. Which one is right depends entirely on whether you need reach or attention.

These denominators are not identical. Our rate is per thousand modelled impressions — one playback of your ad, seen by one rider, at 1.4 riders per playback. Out-of-home CPM is conventionally per thousand audience impressions counted however that operator counts them. We call ours modelled because we do not pretend to count heads, and we will never tell you a reach number we cannot show you the plays behind. Third-party rates are those operators' own published figures, collected August 2026; check the linked source for current numbers.

Why is the rate higher than a billboard?

Because the attention is not comparable. A billboard counts everyone who could have seen it. An in-car screen counts a seated passenger in a quiet vehicle with the screen at arm's length for the length of the trip. We would rather sell you a smaller number of impressions someone actually watched than a large number nobody did.

If raw reach is what you need, a digital bulletin is the better buy and we will tell you so. FrontSeat is the better buy when attention and measurement matter more than impression count — and when you want to know how many people scanned, not just how many drove past.

Unused credits roll over rather than disappearing, so you never lose what you paid for. We do not call the monthly impression count guaranteed, because we will not promise a make-good we cannot stand behind. If delivery is light, the unused portion stays on your account and runs when the fleet can deliver it.

No. Starter and Growth are month-to-month and you can cancel any time. Enterprise campaigns run against an insertion order with the term set by the buy.

CAD $499 for a month of Starter. That is the entire commitment — no setup fee, no onboarding cost, no annual contract. Growth is $2,499 per month, and Enterprise is quoted on volume and requirements.

Up to 8 seconds, static or video. Short creative is deliberate: a passenger sees a rotation of ads across a trip, and 8 seconds is long enough to land one clear message and a QR code without the loop becoming repetitive.

Yes. Frequency controls are available in campaign settings, so you decide whether your impressions spread across as many separate rides as possible or repeat within the same trip. Reach and repetition are a genuine trade-off at a fixed monthly count, and it should be your call rather than ours — a restaurant chasing awareness usually wants breadth, while a law firm with one specific offer often wants a rider to see it more than once.

Every campaign reports delivered plays and QR code scans, and Starter includes a weekly result report. Plays are the playbacks we can show you; impressions are those plays modelled at 1.4 riders each. Scans tell you how many people acted. We will never tell you a reach number we cannot show you the plays behind.

No. Slots are scarce by inventory, not by category — we do not lock out your competitors and we do not charge you for the impression that we have.

Yes. Geo-zone targeting is included on every plan, so you can concentrate delivery in the parts of Metro Vancouver your customers actually travel through rather than paying for city-wide reach you do not need.

Yes. Enterprise is built for insertion orders, share of voice, and verified reporting.

Screens return to the road in the coming months. Our Vancouver pilot has finished and we are moving to production hardware before redeploying, so we are not putting a hard date on it — we would rather be honest than miss one. Founding advertisers reserve inventory and lock their rate now, nothing is billed until delivery begins, and deposits are refundable if the launch window moves.
